“That doesn't sound very attractive,' laughed Anne. 'I like people to have a little nonsense about them.”

I love long country car rides, but I love them even more when going somewhere I love -- antiquing, for instance. While visiting my cousin Katie, we spontaneously decided to go antiquing while we were out driving home from the fabric store.

I didn't purchase anything, but it was loads of fun to look at all the pretty wares, linens, and trinkets in the cute little shops. Then on the way back we stopped at an adorable little candy store and all bought a stick of rock candy.

I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite pictures from that day.

  1. That was such fun! I just wish I hadn't been so sunburned, it would have been even more fun then. I'm still delighted I got to FINALLY try rock candy. It felt so old fashioned.

  2. That was a lot of fun! Did you see the post I did today about it? I love seeing our different takes on the day (like, what was important to show and what wasn't. :D Hehe.)
